One goal of the FRPN is to improve the capacity of researchers and practitioners to conduct rigorous evaluation of fatherhood programs. To build research capacity, we have provided a variety of technical assistance including one-on-one consulting services, mentoring and peer support as well as web-based communication platforms and resources.
These are brief write-ups that highlight key steps in the process of conducting an evaluation of a fatherhood program. All write-ups include examples drawn from fatherhood program evaluations and highlight specific references for additional materials. The FRPN write-ups are available as downloadable PDF files in the Supporting Resources section below.
FRPN webinars focus on a variety of topics of interest for fatherhood practitioners and researchers including how to find a research partner, tips for conducting successful evaluation research projects, state-level initiatives for father inclusion, and findings from FRPN-funded projects. These webinars can be viewed in the Supporting Resources section below.
